ATTENTION: We will be testing on Saturday Dec 5th--the forcast only calls for 49 but David said that was close enough so bundle up and come on.
On Sunday we will open the gates at 10, time trials at 12 and we will start the race at 2pm sharp so we can get finished before it gets dark.

David has lots of plans for the track thru the winter months including: More lighting, more speakers, adding a radio station (done that FM 88., and a New Bathroom for the Ladies. He also has cleaned up the place and has made it a place you wouldn't be afraid to bring your spouse and children. He raised his kids at the track and gave them something to look forward to on the weekends as good clean family entertainment and that is what he wants to provide you with. Next years projects include a new starting line, upgrading the guard rails, extendig the parking area, and a new concession stand, also looking into possibly adding a new enterance. All of you that raced with David at Monroe County or with him over the years know what kind of person he is and that he will be firm and fair with all the racers, and fans. 11th Annual West Tennessee Drag Racer's Swapmeet and Flea Market was a success, we had a huge car count and over 500 spectators, the sunday race was cancelled due to rain, but for the most part everything went as planned. We are talking about having 2 events like this next year.
